30 Days App

by Richard Ross and Gus Reyes

The 30 days app guides parents and teens through a 10-minute daily conversation and experience. Previously published in booklet and now available in an app, hundreds of thousands of parents and kids recaptured that closer connection with each other, often restoring strained relationships. The app prompts you to share stories, answer questions, and open up in authentic ways teens most desire. Watch your relationship deepen as each of the 30 days passes. Both of you will look forward to this daily time!

Dr. Richard Ross

My name is Richard Ross. Dr. Gus Reyes is my close friend and a valuable ministry partner. Developing the 30 Days phone app for parents and students may be the most exciting of all the ministry projects we have shared. Tens of thousands of families built warmer heart connections between the generations when 30 Days was in book form. We believe far more will be blessed now that the resource is a phone app.

I love speaking in churches, conferences, and family events. Dr. Reyes shares that same passion. He is very effective before any audience. He or I would be honored to speak to groups important to you. My email address is rross@swbts.edu.

 Here is a brief bio.

Dr. Richard Ross currently serves as the senior professor of Student Ministry at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. In that role, he prepares future student pastors and other church leaders to impact the families of teenagers. Before coming to Southwestern, he served as the consultant in Student Ministry Coordination at Lifeway Christian Resources in Nashville, Tennessee. Ross also served as a student pastor for thirty years.

Ross holds master's and PhD degrees from Southwestern Seminary in Student Ministry. He is the author of twenty-five books, including Youth Ministry That Lasts a Lifetime. He speaks in more than 35 churches and conferences annually.

Ross is husband to LaJuana, who has joined him in a lifetime of loving teenagers and their parents. They are the parents of Clayton.

His ministry verse is Revelation 5:13. “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”

Dr. Gus Reyes

My name is Gus Reyes. I have been privileged to work in youth ministry with Dr. Richard Ross. Through the years, we have seen parents and students get disconnected. We believe God wants the hearts of students and their parents to get reconnected. Together, we developed the 30 Days resource for parents and students. Watching hearts get connected after sermons and workshops for students or their families is a huge blessing for me.

I would love an opportunity to join you in your efforts to build bridges between parents and their students. You can reach me at gusreyes@nhclc.org or 214 478-3833.
